| Description: | Come visit the Hog Island Audubon Center that’s been changing lives for more than 70 years. Members, guests and the public are invited to the island, which normally is accessible only by private boat, any time between 1 p.m.–5 p.m. to explore the trails to see wildlife on Muscongus Bay, and tour the historic camp’s restored 19th-century buildings. Host to a variety of residential programs throughout the summer, the island welcomes visitors for an afternoon of exploration & food! Enjoy homemade chowder ($15 adult/$10 child under 12) to complete your afternoon by the ocean. Reservations are required for chowder meal. Meal includes chowder, salad, corn on the cob and hot dogs for children. Date: Saturday, August 23 Advanced registration for meal necessary. |
